Raymond Island Koala & Wildlife Shelter was established in January 2013 by Susan & Stephen Pulis with the vision to build a purpose built Koala facility to specialise in the care and rehabilitation of sick and injured koalas and to raise orphaned and abandoned joeys. The Wildlife Shelter also cares for all the precious wildlife on the Island and surrounding areas.
The Gippsland Lakes are precious. Together we can protect them for future generations. ‘Love our Lakes’ is about a shared responsibility to participate in caring for the Lakes and catchment.
Boat, sail, swim, canoe, kayak, fish; in fact you can experience just about any water activity, so make a splash. The tranquil Gippsland Lakes system is the ultimate playground for all.
Destination Gippsland is the Regional Tourism Board and peak tourism organisation for the Gippsland region in eastern Victoria, Australia.
